Minister of Ukraine said to develop 'deeper relations' with India
Emphasizing close cooperation between Kiev and New Delhi, visiting Ukrainian Deputy Foreign Minister Emine Dzhaparova called India a 'world guru', with some spiritual gurus, and suggested how India could play a bigger role in the ongoing war. She said, 'Ukraine really wants India to come closer to us.
There were different pages in our history but now Ukraine is gaining independence. We are now able to be subjected, not objects.' she further said, "India is witnessing a change in outlook and it may take some time to develop a new relationship with Ukraine and the relationship should be based on a realistic and balanced approach."
she said, 'Our president has been saying constantly, we have to fight for our rights without stepping on the rights of others. India has a lot in common with Ukraine. Our bilateral relationship has huge and untapped potential. This is just the beginning of our dialogue.'
