Corona infection increased again, mock drill started in hospitals

Corona infection is increasing in the country. The number of corona patients in the country reached close to 6 thousand again on Monday, although it decreased slightly on Sunday. Mock drills started across the country on Monday to check whether India is ready to handle this situation.

According to statistics from the Union Health Ministry, the number of corona infected in the last 24 hours is 5880. Compared to Sunday, the number of corona patients has increased nationwide. The daily positivity rate has touched around 7 percent. The number of active patients in the country is more than 35 thousand.

The central government wants to walk the path of caution as the corona virus increases across the country. Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandavya had a meeting with the health ministers of each state last week. He said that the health infrastructure of the state should be looked at. Proper treatment should be arranged after receiving news of corona infection.

Mock drills will begin across the country on Monday and Tuesday after that meeting. Mandavya himself will attend the mock drill at AIIMS in Haryana. The fourth wave of corona may hit the country very soon. Also, according to the Health Ministry, the new sub-variant of the Covid virus is not very dangerous.
