Kolakham in Kalimpang, a hilly village. Kolakham is one of the most beautiful villages in Kalimpong. 8 km from Lava. Although this kolakham like lava, lolegaon or reshop is still not so popular. The road leading from Kolakham to Lava passes almost entirely through the Neora Valley forest. Hilly crooked, high road. Dense forest on both sides. In the evening, you will see the light-up reshop from Kolakham. Change waterfall is jumping from a height of 300 feet. The eyes will be dazzled by the sight of Kanchenjunga shining against the sparkling blue sky.

How to go:- 

To go to Kolakham you have to touch the lava. From Sealdah or Howrah come to New Mall Junction or New Jalpaiguri. Lava by car from there. Kolakham is eight kilometers from Lava. Lava is 52 km from New Mal and 117 km from New Jalpaiguri.

Where to Stay:-

 Stay at Kolakham at Neora Valley Eco Hut. Rent 1600-2300 taka per day. Breakfast is also included. Apart from this there is Kolakham Retreat. Here also the rent amount is similar to Neora Valley Eco Hut.
