Mamata's blue tick is back

There is a stir in the world due to the blue tick on the Twitter account. Many have been vocal in their opposition to Twitter owner Elon Musk's Blue Subscription policy. Many celebrities to politicians have lost blue ticks from their accounts overnight. The politicians of Bengal were also on that list.

From Mamata Banerjee, and Abhishek Banerjee to Sujan Chakraborty, many stars have lost this Twitter Blue Tick since the night of April 20.

Elon Musk made it clear that if you don't pay $8 a month, you won't get the verification mark. But for two days, it appears that the blue badge is back next to the names of many celebrities and politicians on Twitter! Mamata Banerjee is in that list. But Trinamool All India General Secretary Abhishek Banerjee did not get back the blue tick. Meanwhile, CPM leader Sujan Chakraborty and CPM state secretary Mohammad Salim also do not have a blue tick next to their account. While the BJP camp has a blue tick next to Shuvendu Adhikari's name, Sukant Majumder or Dilip Ghosh do not.

Musk decided to change his policy a little when he was in trouble. According to media reports, Twitter has changed the blue subscription rules. Even if you don't pay, you will get a blue tick. But for him, the number of followers on that account should be 10 lahks. As a result, the Chief Minister of Bengal got back the blue tick overnight. But Abhishek, Sukanth, Dilip, Sujan did not get it. Because Mamata has more than 7 million followers.

But the number of followers of Subhendu is 2 lakh 18 thousand! Abhishek has more than 4 lakh followers since Shuvendur. But even then, how is the blue tick shining next to the name of Subhendu? According to many observers, in this case, Subhendu Adhikari may be paying a fortune to become a premium member, following Twitter's rules. In other words, the leader of the opposition is paying 8 dollars a month.
