Relief for now, the weather changes again at the end of the week!

The weather department forecast that the temperature in western districts may reach 38-39 degrees again by the end of the week. However, in that case, there is no possibility of heatwave or rain, according to the Meteorological Department.

The weather forecast given this morning said that light to moderate rain with thundershower is likely at some places in Darjeeling, Jalpaiguri, Kalimpong, Alipurduar, and Cooch Behar during the next 48 hours i.e. Thursday morning, April 27.

At the same time, light rain is likely in North Dinajpur, South Dinajpur, and Maldah districts. Even if there is no such change in the day temperature for the next two days, the temperature may increase by 2-3 degrees Celsius in the next two days, said the Meteorological Department.

Gusty winds may reach 40-50 kmph at some places over Darjeeling, Jalpaiguri, Kalimpong, Alipurduar, and Cooch Behar on Tuesday. However, in the next 24 hours, it may decrease to 30-40 km per hour.

According to the forecast, in the next 24 hours i.e. on Wednesday morning, April 26, all the districts of South Bengal are likely to experience light rain with thunder. With gusty winds of 40-50 km per hour.

Light rain may occur in North 24 Parganas, South 24 Parganas, East Medinipur, Birbhum, Murshidabad, and Nadia during the next 24 hours i.e. Thursday morning. During this time the weather in the rest of the districts will remain dry. Although there is no such change in temperature for the next couple of days, the temperature may increase by 2-3 degrees Celsius in the next two days.

The Meteorological Department said on Tuesday morning that the sky is likely to remain partly cloudy in the next 24 hours in Kolkata and surrounding areas. Chance of thundershowers with light rain at isolated places. The maximum and minimum temperatures can be around 32 and 23 degrees Celsius respectively. The minimum temperature of Kolkata on this day is 23.2 degrees Celsius. Which is 3 degrees below normal. On Monday, the temperature was 25.7 degrees Celsius. The maximum relative humidity is 88 percent. The minimum relative humidity is 54 percent.
