Two cheetahs are expected to die in Kuno Park', said South Africa

Death of Uday after Sasha. Another Cheetah brought from South Africa to Madhya Pradesh's Kuno National Park has died recently. After seven and a half decades of independence, an atmosphere of apprehension has been created around the project to bring the cheetah back to India. South Africa's Department of Forestry, Fisheries and Environment DFFE assures this situation.

They claim that such mortality is expected in such projects. What exactly did the office say? "The two cheetah deaths (one in Namibia and one in South Africa) so far are within the expected mortality rate for this type of project," their statement said. They also said that reintroducing large carnivores is very complicated and risky. Although they are yet to receive the post-mortem report of the two cheetahs, they have learned that there are no signs of any infectious disease. As a result, they say that there is no danger of other cheetahs being endangered.

Incidentally, the goal was to increase the number of cheetahs in the country. FoWhich cheetahs were airlifted from Namibia last year. Another dozen cheetahs were brought from South Africa in February. They are kept in Kuno National Park in Madhya Pradesh. That work was done in a grand ceremony by the hand of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Due to the death of two cheetahs, the number of cheetahs in Kuno National Park has reduced to 18.
