The state will surprise the President at the reception, a special event will be held at the Netaji Indoor Stadium

President Draupadi Murmu is coming to the state today, Monday. And a special surprise for the state government to welcome him. President Draupadi Murmu will be at the Netaji Indoor Stadium from 4:50 PM to 6:00 PM on this day. On behalf of the state, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee will be accompanied by Governor CV Anand Bose along with a host of dignitaries.

A special Saotali dance program is being organized by the state to welcome the President there. Minister Birbaha Hasda himself is at the forefront of this arrangement. Besides, two special songs will also be performed on the occasion to welcome the President. The President will be welcomed by the state by singing these two songs "Dhandhanya Pushpa Bhara" and "Banglar Mati Banglar Jal". The President will be felicitated by State Governor CV Anand Bose, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, Assembly Speaker Biman Banerjee, Chief Justice of Calcutta High Court, Mayor of Calcutta Municipal Corporation, State Chief Secretary, four cultural personalities, three prominent industrialists and four sportspersons including Sourav Gangopadhyay too. According to Navanna sources, the schedule has been prepared to welcome the President.

After this reception, the Chief Minister, the Governor will give their own speech. After that the President will speak. The state government will hold a one-hour reception at the Netaji Indoor Stadium from 5 pm to 6 pm.

On this day, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee will welcome the President at the Race Course Helipad. Navanna has already started preparing for it. Besides, a special dinner has also been organized at Raj Bhavan on this day.
