In January this year, a bluefin tuna fish was auctioned off in Tokyo, Japan, Bloomberg reported. The price of this fish weighing 212 kg has been fixed at 2 lakh 73 thousand US dollars. If it is converted into Indian Rupees it will be more than Rs.2 Crore 23 Lakh 42 thousand. Bluefin tuna are said to live for over 40 years and weigh over 200 kg.

There are many reasons for the high price of tuna. First, it is available in very small quantities, and on top of that, it tastes very good.

The nutritional value of this fish is much higher than other fish. This fish contains vitamin A, vitamin D, vitamin B6, and vitamin B12. Tuna fish also contains high levels of vitamin A as well as vitamin B, which is very beneficial for the body. Along with B vitamins, other nutrients such as protein, omega-3 fatty acids, selenium, magnesium, and calcium are also found in tuna fish.

This fish is mostly found swimming deep in the ocean.
