If you have a short vacation, you can visit Raichak. This Raichak place is located very close to Diamond Harbor in South 24 Pargana district.

River Ganga flows by Raichak. You can visit this city just 50 km away from Kolkata.

Some notable places in Raichak:

• The F Fort: The F Fort was built during the colonial period. You can enjoy the beauty of Hooghly river from the watch tower of this fort.

• Chingrikali Fort: The Portuguese built this fort. However, due to lack of maintenance, it has now turned into a ruin. But the scenery of this place will fill your mind with happiness.

• Diamond Harbor Light House: This light house is located very close to the fort. This light house was built several decades ago. It is still in operation today.
