Nutritious Hilsa will be handed over to the people of Bangladesh

Mangoes of Bangladesh will reach the hands of the people with tasty yet nutritious hilsa. This information was given by Fisheries and Livestock Minister Sh. Rezaul Karim.

He said that the current government under the leadership of Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is working towards reaching nutritious, tasty and beautiful hilsa to all the people of the country.

S.M. Rezaul Karim said this at a press conference organized on the occasion of Fish Khoka Hilsa Conservation Week, 2023 at the Bangladesh Agricultural Research Council Auditorium at Farmgate in the capital Dhaka on Thursday.

Before the press conference, the minister addressed the chief guest at the workshop titled 'Evaluation and Future Actions of Ma Hilsa Conservation Campaign 2022'.

He said that Jatka Conservation Week, 2023 is being celebrated with the aim of enriching hilsa fish. In continuation of other years, Jatka Conservation Week will be observed from April 1 to April 7. The theme of this year's Jatka Conservation Week is 'If Jatka is conserved, Hilsa production will increase'.
