Mamata at Singur ahead of dharna, emotional Chief Minister at launch of 'Pathashree-Rastashri' project

The government has launched the 'Pathashree-Rastashri' scheme to build and repair new roads in rural areas ahead of the upcoming Panchayat polls.Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee launched the 'Pathashree-Rastashri' project at Singur on Tuesday. Notably, Mamata will sit on dharna at the foot of Ambedkar statue for two days on March 29 and 30 against central deprivation. Before that he went to Singur. The path movement gave him a special dimension in the political world. And it goes without saying that Singur's contribution is there.

"I came here today, I touched the soil of Singur once before the dharna". On this day, the Chief Minister in Ratanpur area made a new beginning of 'road' by coating sand-cement on bricks. However, Mamata Banerjee did not stop targeting the CPM from the stage of 'Pathashree-Rastashri' inauguration in Singur. He is heard to say that he sat on dharna in one of the months of Ramadan demanding the protection of land. At that time one night they lay down but did not sleep. A big lorry coming from Calcutta almost ran over them. He claimed that everything was done in the plan of CPM.

Incidentally, in this project, a total of 8 thousand 767 roads will be constructed and repaired in 22 districts. Out of which 7 thousand 219 new roads will be constructed and 1 thousand 548 roads will be repaired. Navanna has already taken important steps to promote this project.
