CBI investigating the attack on Nishit Pramanik's convoy! The High Court ordered

Calcutta High Court gave CBI charge of investigation into the attack on Union Minister of State for Home Nisith Pramanik's convoy. On Tuesday, a division bench of Chief Justice Prakash Srivastava and Justice Rai Chattopadhyay ruled that the CBI will probe the incident for the sake of impartial investigation. High Court's observation, the court has examined all the allegations.

After examining the documents, the court feels that the CBI should be entrusted with the investigation of this case for an impartial and transparent investigation. On February 25, there were allegations of an attack on the convoy of Union Home Minister Amit Shah's deputy Nisith at Dinhata in Cooch Behar. Bombs, bullets and stone pelting attacks were carried out, the BJP alleged. According to the pre-announced program, Nisith went to Dinhat on that day. There he was visiting different areas and talking to BJP workers. According to local sources, Trinamool workers showed him a black flag when his convoy reached Burirhat area.

The BJP alleged that the attack on Nisith's convoy was actually a plot by North Bengal Development Minister Udayan Guha. On the other hand, North Bengal Development Minister Udayan blamed the entire incident on Nisith. The Trinamool MLA of Dinhata claimed that Nishith wanted to occupy the area with anti-social elements.

After this, the BJP questioned the law and order situation in the state. Governor CV Anand Bose also spoke about the incident. Terming the attack as 'deplorable', the governor also questioned the law and order situation in the state.

The BJP drew the attention of the division bench headed by Chief Justice Prakash Srivastava. A bench of Justice Srivastava allowed the suit to be filed. Earlier, the CBI had demanded a CBI inquiry into various incidents including the Bogtwikand in the state. Opposition leader Subvendu Adhikari also demanded a CBI probe into the attack on Nisith's convoy. After that, the High Court summoned the report from the state. Calcutta High Court ordered CBI investigation this time.
