South African imported cheetah dies in Kuno National Park
Sad news has come out from Madhya Pradesh Kuno National Park. Uday, another cheetah from South Africa, has died. The cause of death of leopards is said to be illness. Twenty cheetahs were brought to India from Namibia and South Africa, two of which have died so far.
According to information released by Kuno National Park, Udaya the cheetah was sitting with its head down around 9 am today. When approached, he walks with his neck down. He was completely healthy a day before during daily morning-evening observation. But today his condition was not good.
Information on the status of cheetah emergence is immediately relayed wirelessly to wildlife medics monitoring cheetahs in other booms. Doctors immediately reached the spot with their team after receiving the news. When the doctors examined him, it was found that he was sick.
Wildlife doctors and cheetah experts from the Cheetah Conservation Fund checked its condition and handed it over to the Chief Conservator of Forest Singh at 9.45 am.
The Chief Conservator of Forests immediately informs the Principal Chief Conservator of Forests about the situation in Udai. Cheeta Uday was knocked unconscious at 11 am and treatment started on the spot. Cheetah's health has been kept in an isolation ward for treatment and observation. But Chita Uday died at 4 pm.
