After this, Shah's ministry also sent a letter to Nabanna asking for a report. After this, the BJP delegation led by Sukanta went to the Raj Bhavan. The party also submitted a memorandum to the Governor.

According to BJP sources, they consider two areas of the state as 'threatened' areas in the current situation. The state BJP leadership strongly demanded that the Governor send a letter to the Center for the promulgation of Article 355 of the Constitution in those two areas. Sukanta did not open his mouth about this after leaving the Raj Bhavan. But Shuvendu has moved. Throwing a direct challenge at the Governor, he said, "The Chief Minister exercised his constitutional powers and told Delhi to take action without seeking a report from the state government." In the area of ​​Shibpur Thana, Rishara Thana, under Section 355, 'threatened' should be declared.

Let those police stations be handed over to the paramilitary forces for the next one and a half months. The Governor has proposed this to the Union Home Ministry. Then I will understand, he wants to show something.

The BJP has always claimed that it is not in favor of promulgating Article 356 in any state as a matter of 'principle'. But will the Narendra Modi government accept the demand to issue Article 355? There are such questions within the state BJP as well. Incidentally, the Governor has also responded to the demand of Subhendu.
