Crisis in wheat, edible oil due to war: Jaishankar

Due to the war, the import of wheat and edible oil from Ukraine has stopped and the crisis has been created. India is desperately looking for an alternative. Foreign Minister S Jaishankar said this in Uganda today. According to him, Uganda will also benefit from the development of India. The foreign minister held a meeting with the non-resident Indian businessmen of that country.

He urged the Indians living there to be active in improving Africa's relations with India.The foreign minister of India said, 'India's development and future plans will create new opportunities for Uganda. India's experience will also help Uganda's development journey.' He said, "The increase in wheat prices created a major crisis after imports from Ukraine stopped. There was a wheat crisis.' Along with crude oil, Jaishankar also highlighted the crisis side of edible oil. In words, 'We import a large amount of sunflower oil from Ukraine. Now there is huge pressure on Indian businessmen to look for alternatives.''
