Crabs are equal to two people

A giant crab is found in the Japanese part of the Pacific Ocean. They are 12 feet in length from one leg to the other. At first glance, it looks like a prehistoric creature straight out of an old science fiction scene.

This crab is known as the gentle giant to the people of the coast of Japan. Because the behavior is very polite. They usually roam the ocean floor at a depth of 260 to 2000 feet. They can also be seen in different holes there. Live in the depths of the sea. With ten huge legs and a spiny, strong exoskeleton, they have few natural enemies. However, animals like octopuses or stingrays sometimes create quite a problem.

The distance from one foot to the tip of the other is greater than the sum of the lengths of two full-grown humans. Usually, it is about 12 feet. Male spider crabs have larger legs or feet to fight enemies or other crabs. The body of female crabs is relatively wide, and rounded type. Their body structure is basically for holding eggs.

Japanese spider crabs can be called carnivores. They are not usually seen hunting. They like to roam the sea floor in search of dead animals and plants.
