Ingredients:-
Small size prawns: 250 grams
Shredded coconut: 3/4 cup
Garlic: 3-4 cloves
Chilli: To taste
Salt: To taste
Sugar: 1/3 tsp
Turmeric: 1 tsp
Mustard oil: 3 tbsp
Banana leaves: 2
Procedure:-
Clean and peel the prawns. Beat all the ingredients except mustard oil and banana leaves. The batter will not be too fine. Add 2 spoons of oil to it. Spread a banana leaf on a heavy iron pot or flat bottom. Apply mustard oil on top and spread the shrimp mixture evenly. Add another banana leaf on top. Cover the top with a lid to prevent steam from escaping. Cook on very low heat. After 10-12 minutes carefully flip the banana leaves and cook the other side. At this time spread one spoon of oil from the side and close the lid again.
After 5-6 minutes, if it burns a little, turn off the flame. Cut into small pieces and spread mustard oil and serve with hot rice.
