After cancellation of the post of MP, there is an attempt to evict Rahul from his residence in Delhi

After being rejected as an MP, the Modi government is now trying to take the roof off Rahul Gandhi's head. According to sources, top officials of the Ministry of Urban Development have already been ordered to send an eviction notice to Rahul Gandhi from his Tughlaq Road house.

After receiving the instructions, the top officials of the Ministry of Urban Development started preparing the notice to vacate the former Congress president's house.

In 2004, Rahul Gandhi was first elected as an MP from Amethi in Uttar Pradesh. He was allotted a bungalow at No. 12 Tughlaq Lane in the capital by the Lok Sabha. After being elected as an MP, he stayed in the bungalow of mother Sonia Gandhi at Janpath No. 10 for almost a year. Finally, in 2005, he moved to a bungalow on Tughlaq Lane.

But the Modi government rushed to evict Rahul from his Tughlaq Lane bungalow after Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla rejected the former Congress president's MP post on Friday. An official of the Ministry of Urban Development, who did not wish to be named, said, 'Rahul was getting the opportunity to stay in the bungalow at No. 12 Tughlaq Lane as an MP. Since he is no longer an MP, he has also lost the right to stay in the bungalow. As a result, he will have to leave the government bungalow.
