A tourism cottage will be built on an acre of land on the banks of the Ganga in Chuchura. Land has been identified for tourism project near Ramakrishna Reservoir in Sahaganj. Then an application has been made to the Tourism Department of the State Government on behalf of the Chunchura Municipality. According to the sources, initially the green signal has been given by the tourism department.

However, how much money will be allocated or what specific infrastructure will be built with that money, has not been finalized yet. It has been reported that the tourism department will hold a meeting with the municipal council on these issues.
