Kedarnath temple opens for pilgrims on April 25
With just a few more days to wait, Kedarnath Dham, one of the main attractions of Chardham Yatra, is being opened for pilgrims. Devotees can visit Baba Kedarnath from April 25. Chardham Yatra also starts on that day. Apart from walking, devotees can also reach Kedarnath by helicopter.
IRCTC has been given all the responsibilities regarding helicopter booking. It should be noted that this year 6 lakh 34 thousand pilgrims have already registered for Chardham Yatra.
Millions of pilgrims eagerly wait for Chardham Yatra every year. Finally, on Wednesday, it was announced that devotees will be able to visit Baba Kedarnath from April 25. Prior to that, Gangotri and Yamunotri temples are opening for pilgrims on April 22. Badrinath temple is going to be opened again for pilgrims on April 27.
