Trinamool MP Sougata Roy lost his wife. His wife Dolly Roy breathed her last at Apollo Hospital in Kolkata on Friday morning. She was suffering from incurable cancer for a long time. She was recently admitted to the hospital due to a lung infection.

Dolly Roy breathed his last there on Friday morning. Now her body is in the hospital. In the afternoon it will be taken to Lake Gardens. Saugata Roy's wife's family lives in Delhi. They have been contacted. If necessary, her body will be kept at Peace World. Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee called Saugata Roy after Dolly's death. She spoke to Saugata Roy and offered her condolences.

Dolly Roy was the tea taster. She also opened an establishment called Dolly's Tea. She did several studies on how to increase the sales of tea. Although a professional tea taster, Dolly was never seen in active politics alongside her husband. However, she has always been enthusiastic about her husband's political activities.

She lived in the Lake Gardens residence with Dum Dum's Trinamool MP Saugata. Her body will be taken there this afternoon. At the end of last March, Dolly Roy was seriously ill and had to be admitted to Apollo Hospital. At that time Saugata babu was again in Delhi. He was quickly summoned.
