Houses have been made for the birds to escape from the heat. Adequate water supply has also been provided. North Bengal Wild Animal Park Director Kamal Sarkar said that cold fruits and ice bars have been arranged. Air coolers are also arranged for them. Ice bars are brought to the park daily for warmth for Royal Bengal Tigers, Himalayan Black Bears. Cold fruits are also provided for wild animals. Herbivores are given those fruits.

Besides, shelters have been arranged for leopards, deer and other animals. Sheds have also been prepared for elephants. He said that everyone is being monitored so that no animal gets sick in the intense heat. A veterinarian at Bengal Safari keeps a regular eye on the wildlife.
