Adequate sleep can reduce the risk of heart disease

Humans need adequate sleep. Lack of sleep can cause various physical complications. Heart disease is one of them. A recent research paper published in the 2022 'European Society of Cardiology Congress' claims that 70 percent of heart problems can be avoided if you get enough sleep.

The study also  It is known that 7,200 people participated in this study by a group of scientists from 'The French National Institute of Health and Medical Research'. 62 percent of the participants were male. The average age was 59 years. None had heart problems at the start of the study. The researchers examined the participants every two years for 10 years.

Based on the amount of sleep, the researchers divided the participants into five groups.claimed that the risk of stroke and heart disease increases if there is no proper sleep. The results of the study showed that people who were in the best stages of sleep had a 75 percent lower risk of heart disease and stroke compared to those who were in the worst stages. According to the available data, if everyone had enough sleep, the risk of new strokes and heart problems would decrease in 72 percent of cases, according to the researchers.
