A 12.8-feet-long, 67-million-year-old dinosaur is up for auction
A 67-million-year-old dinosaur skeleton is set to be auctioned in Zurich next April. It is currently on display for public viewing in a gallery at the Zurich Concert Hall. This is the first time that a T-Rex dinosaur skeleton is being auctioned anywhere in Europe. The dinosaur skeleton was shipped from Arizona, USA to Zurich in nine huge crates.
The skeleton is about 3.9 meters or 12.8 feet long. It will be kept in the gallery for public viewing till April 18. The auction price of the skeleton is between six and eight million Swiss francs. However, auction experts feel that the price may increase further during the auction.
