There is a high possibility of rain with thunder in several districts of South Bengal since Saturday afternoon. Meteorological Department sources said that rain with thunder will continue in the districts of South Bengal as well as North Bengal.

According to the forecast, there is a possibility of rain with thunder in several districts of South Bengal from Saturday afternoon. On Friday, the city of Kolkata along with neighboring districts witnessed heavy fog in the early hours of the morning.

However, as the day progresses, the fog will disappear and clear skies will be seen. There is no chance of rain in Kolkata on Friday. However, the weather will change in Kolkata from Saturday afternoon.

Apart from South Bengal, stormy rains are also forecast in North Bengal districts. All the districts of North Bengal will experience intermittent rain with thunder. According to the weather office, there will be light to moderate rain in almost all the districts of North Bengal for the next four days.
