Fraud of billions of rupees! Uncertain Nusrat and Mimi's future?

Has the multi-crore flat scandal set back MP Nusrat Jahan in the 2024 Lok Sabha election? It is learned that the top leadership of the Trinamool can practically confirm the decision that Nusrat will not be nominated in Basirhat despite openly saying that 'law will follow the path of law'.

Trinamool will take a new face in Basirhat if there is no change at the last minute. The Trinamool is now more concerned about measuring the political damage done to the Basirhat seat due to Nusrat. Also, the search is on for a new minority face for Basirhat. Because the number of minority voters in that Lok Sabha seat of South Bengal is only about 49 percent.

However, a section of the party said that the recent controversy over Nusrat has become a topic of much discussion in the Trinamool, as a whole, the issue of getting tickets for the 'stars' has become a topic of discussion.

In that sense, a large part of the party leaders think that the darkness has fallen even with the ticket of Jadavpur MP Mimi Chakraborty. In fact, Abhishek Banerjee is in favor of making them the people's representatives, who will be 'full-time political workers'.

A key leader of the party again claimed that Abhishek does not mind taking on the social sphere in general. But to become a public representative, he has to give up the title of 'star'.

Because as a public representative, his work, lifestyle, and parliamentary or council role are all in the eyes of the people. He should be aware of that. It is clear that even if the Trinamool gives a ticket to a star in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls, he will have to shed his 'star' identity.

In that sense, it is assumed that leaders like Kunal Ghosh or Ritabrat Banerjee are more 'desirable' for Trinamool than Nusrat or Mimi in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls. Both are former Rajya Sabha MPs. Aware of the workings of the Parliament.

As a result, they are ahead in the Lok Sabha race. An indication of what 'policy' the Trinamool will adopt in terms of giving Lok Sabha tickets was recently revealed during the nomination of Rajya Sabha candidates.

The top leadership of the ruling party has given the responsibility to politicians and social workers of all times instead of going to the so-called 'stars'. Samirul, a leader or social activist with experience in daily politics in tea gardens like Prakash Chikbaraik, is an example.

Samirul is his example. But at the same time, the evaluation of stars like Sayani Ghosh or Sayantika Banerjee is a little different. Saini lost the assembly polls but paid more attention to politics. Similarly, even though Sayantika lost in Bankura, she is still working in the area.
