Train canceled again, suffering will continue for 15 days

After non-interlocking, fourteen trains will be canceled between Howrah-Burdwan for fifteen days due to overhead work. Seven daily up trains will be canceled from Howrah. Two down trains canceled from Burdwan and one down train each from Pandua, Tarkeswar, Gurap, Srirampur and Mashagram will remain canceled on these days.

The Eastern Railway Authority has already started construction of a new terminal at Dankuni. If the plan is implemented, modern technology trains like Vande Bharat Express will run from here.

But, when will the plight of local train passengers between Dankuni and Sealdah end? Because the number of local trains on this route is very less. Also for long distance trains most of the time local trains do not run on their own timings. However, the civic organization 'Sara Bangla Citizens Forum' has sent a memorandum to the Chairman of the Indian Railway Board informing about the suffering of the passengers.

However, if new technology is used in different railway lines of Bengal in the coming days, the train journey is going to be more smooth and time-consuming for the passengers.
