Thunderstorms are still possible today

Due to the cyclone that formed in the Bay of Bengal, there is a possibility of rain with thunder and even hail at some places in both Bengal on Thursday as well as on Wednesday. Gusts can blow at a speed of 50 kilometers per hour. However, it is unclear to the meteorologists whether this vortex will eventually turn into a cyclone.

According to an official of Mausam Bhavan, after the formation of low pressure, it can be said exactly which way it will proceed, and how strong it will be. The whole matter is being continuously monitored for now.

The Eastern Regional Director of Alipore Meteorological Department said that there is a possibility of forming a cyclone in the Southeast and South Central Bay of Bengal next Saturday, May 6. As a result, the weather may change. As a result, scattered thunder and hailstorm may occur in some places in the state. The situation is being monitored.

Sources from the Alipur Meteorological Office have informed that on Thursday as well as on Wednesday, the districts of South and North Bengal will have gusty winds of 30-40 kmph and rain everywhere. Stormy rain will reduce in South Bengal from Friday afternoon. On the other hand, stormy rain will continue in North Bengal till the 6th. But if the cyclone eventually becomes a cyclone, the weather can change drastically. So for now the weather experts are keeping an eye on the movement of the weather. However, due to the sudden formation of this vortex, the heat has reduced a lot in the state.
