The state government formed a committee for the promotion of government employees

Nabanna formed a committee to review the promotion. This committee has been constituted to discuss the issues of promotion as well as other privileges of the government employees of the state.

There are ten members in this committee headed by Minister of Independent Charge Chandrima Bhattacharya. They will look into all matters and promotion of the staff of Secretariat, Directorate and Regional Offices. This committee will give a preliminary report within six months. This committee will consider the matter of promotion. The issue of promotion of Secretariat staff will be looked into so that appropriate steps can be taken.

It is known that the concerned committee will review all matters up to Lower Division Assistant, Section Officer and Junior Secretariat Service. In this case, their performance report will also be examined. This promotion will depend on how the employees perform throughout the year. 

The Committee will consider the provision of promotion opportunities to the staff of the Secretariat of Bengal, like the staff of the Secretariat of the Central Government and other State Secretariats. The committee is also responsible for reviewing the promotion issues of the employees of the Directorate and regional level government offices. For now, the state government employees are happy with Nabanna's announcement.
