This time, the Board of Primary Education canceled the jobs of the teachers appointed during the tenure of former president Manik Bhattacharya. The primary education board canceled the jobs of 94 teachers. The DPSC chairmen of different districts were informed by letter yesterday night about the cancellation of the jobs of these teachers who were appointed in 2014 and 2016.

An investigation into corruption in primary teacher recruitment revealed that these teachers were teaching without TET. Later, the High Court ordered the CBI to look into the matter. After that, the Primary Education Board called the job seekers and started the investigation. As those job seekers could not submit the required information, the board decided to cancel their jobs.

Several DPSC chairman have already acknowledged receipt of this letter.
