The Center has decided to extend the deadline for PAN and Aadhaar cards one more time

It was announced earlier by the Center that PAN Card and Aadhaar Card should be linked within this month. This deadline cannot be extended. As a result of this decision, many common people are in trouble.

Many people find it difficult to complete the integration process in a short period of time. In such a situation, according to sources, the Center is thinking of extending this deadline once more. The Center had directed to complete this merger by March 31, 2022.

Penalties are levied even if the period is extended by one year. The center ordered the fine to be increased from 500 to 1000 rupees. However, the government has come under criticism for this move. According to official sources, the Central Board of Direct Taxes may issue new guidelines within a few days.

There will be an announcement to extend the time of this merger. After 31st March this process can be completed for another two-three months. Although fine will be required for this cause. Center has already extended this deadline four times. It is reported that the deadline may be extended again in a few days.
