Find out who can apply for TET in December this year and how much money will be required

Gautam Pal, president of the Primary Education Board, announced in a press conference on Wednesday afternoon that TET 2023 will be held on December 10 this year. Yesterday evening, the official website of the board published a notification regarding TET. The details are given there, who can apply, and how much money is required to apply. 

 As per board notification, the applicant's age should be a minimum of 18 years. The maximum age limit for application should be 40. The application can be done online. The application can be made after 7 pm today 14th September, even if there is an educational qualification as fixed by the board. The last date to apply is 4th October.  Minimum of 50% marks in Higher Secondary or equivalent examinations is mandatory. Also must pass 2 years DLED or 4 years BLED.

Not only that, if you have passed graduation and 2 years DLed, can apply. According to the Supreme Court's order, those who have done B.E.D. will not be able to sit for TET this year. However, those who have completed other primary teacher training, including DLed, can give TET.   

If you belong to the general category then it will cost 500 rupees to apply.400 rupees for OBC and 250 rupees for scheduled castes and tribes. Candidates must score a minimum of 60 (General Category) out of 150 to pass TET. In the case of reserved seats, the board has fixed 55 marks.
