Tata and Bisleri contract canceled! Know the details

Tata group last year tied up with Bisleri, India's largest packaged water company. The deal by which the Tata Group wanted to buy the Bisleri company.

Incidentally, in November last year, Tata Bisleri entered into an agreement with the company. Based on this agreement, Bisleri was going to be bought by the company for about 7000 crore rupees. Bisleri company owner Ramesh Chauhan had decided to sell the company to the Tata group and the two sides were in long talks.

However, Tata Consumer Products said in a statement yesterday that Tata Group is not acquiring Bisleri. This discussion is closed. From tea to steel, Tata has been known for a long time. Tata wanted to enter the packaged water business by taking Bisleri's hand. If the deal goes through, Tata would have reached the top spot in the packaged water business.

Tata Consumer Products currently has the Himalayan Natural Mineral Water and Tata Water Plus brands. With the addition of Bisleri, Tata will be ahead of everyone in India's bottled water business. Discussions between the two organizations were going on for almost two years. Due to some problems this discussion is closed. It is known that Tata has also offered to buy Bisleri from several other large companies including Reliance Retail, Nestlé and Danone.
