It has also been said to increase the re-employment age of retired doctors. And similarly, the age limit for appointment of contractual doctors has been increased to 67. Earlier this age limit was 62. It is said that the contract doctors who are part of the West Bengal Health Society have been dealt with.
On the other hand, the re-employment age of retired doctors has been raised to 70. Earlier this age limit was 65. Apart from this, the idea of increasing the retirement age of doctors of all departments has also been thought about by the health department. At the same time, it is reported that the age limit of all the doctors who will be appointed in the contract buses is also being considered. It is said that the thought is being given to increasing the age limit by at least five years.
The age limit for appointment of contractual doctors has been increased from 62 to 67. It is known that this age can also be done in the case of general practitioners. If this decision is approved, it is believed that the shortage of doctors will be solved.
