Ratna reached the ED office, a sensational turn in recruitment corruption

The investigating agency has earlier arrested several persons including the ousted president of the Primary Education Board, Manik Bhattacharya, in the recruitment corruption case. Even many people close to him have been summoned for questioning. This is a sensational turn in recruitment corruption.

ED summons former secretary of Primary Education Board Ratna Chakraborty. Ratna reached the ED office for the first time. He appeared at around 11:30 am on Tuesday.

It should be noted that Manik Bhattacharya was the president of the Primary Education Board for a long time during the Trinamool era. Ratna was working as a secretary at that time. Manik is currently in jail. Ratna has been summoned as her multiple activities have come to light. According to sources, he has been summoned to know more information about Manik. Earlier, however, Ratna appeared at the CBI office on the orders of Calcutta High Court Justice Abhijit Gangopadhyay.

A few days ago two representatives of the board had to attend the ED office due to the investigation. It is known that they appeared with multiple documents related to TATE of 2012 and 2014. After the arrest of an activist named Arnab Basu, the ED summoned Secretary Ratna.

Also, according to ED sources, the whole scenario of corruption was arranged sitting in the government office. Not only that, even several members of the board were involved in corruption. Was it invisible to the jewel? Or Ratna was silent knowing everything. Therefore, the Enforcement Directorate wants to reach the root of the corruption by questioning the former secretary.
