Rakhi Gulzar again in a Bengali film, there is a new surprise

It sounds like there's a lot of excitement surrounding the upcoming film 'Amar Boss,' directed by Nandita Roy and Shivaprasad Mukhopadhyay, especially after the success of their previous film 'Raktabij.' The casting seems intriguing, with Rakhi Gulzar in the main role and Srabanti Chattopadhyay in another significant role. It's noteworthy that Rakhi Gulzar is returning to Bengali films after a considerable hiatus, with her last appearance dating back to Rituparno Ghosh's 'Shubh Mahrat' in 2003.

The mention of Srabanti Chattopadhyay taking on a role in a 'Windows' film for the first time adds an extra layer of interest to the project. The fact that the directors are stepping outside their familiar tableau to create a thriller suggests a departure from their usual style, promising a new and exciting cinematic experience for the audience.

It's always intriguing to see established actors taking on fresh challenges, and it seems like the filmmakers are keen on surprising the audience not only with the storyline but also with the casting choices. The tidbit about the shooting starting in January adds to the anticipation, and it will be interesting to see how the film unfolds and how the audience reacts to this unique combination of talent and storytelling.
