Chance of rain with thunder in the city on Monday also

The Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rain in the city on the first day of May. Partly cloudy city sky from Monday morning. The temperature is also low due to rain at night. According to IMD sources, the effect of rain will increase as the day progresses. Thunderstorms were expected by the afternoon.

It is known that almost the whole of this week will be spent in the rain. It is known that the situation will change slightly from next Saturday. In the next 4-5 days there will be rain with thunder and lightning in two parts of Bengal. Apart from Kolkata, rain is also likely in Birbhum, Murshidabad, Bankura, and West Burdwan. Not only in South Bengal but also in North Bengal, multiple basins may receive rain. There is a possibility of hailstorms in Darjeeling, Kalimpong, and Alipurduar. The rain will continue even at the beginning of May.

On Monday, May 1, the minimum temperature in Kolkata will be around 23 degrees Celsius. On the other hand, the maximum temperature is 36 degrees Celsius. The office is claiming that the amount of rain will increase as the day progresses. Thunderstorms will be accompanied by gusty winds. The relative humidity in the air is 89 percent.

The cyclone has brought a lot of watery air into the state, resulting in torrential rains on Monday in coastal districts including cities. The rain continued on Tuesday. The effects of the heat increased on Wednesday, but the next day heavy rain again hit the city.
