Amritpal's plan was to send his wife abroad and escape himself

Khalistani leader Amritpal Singh could not leave the country despite his plans to think about his wife Kirandeep Kaur. After Amritpal was arrested on Sunday, such information was received from Punjab Police sources.

According to Punjab Police sources, Amritpal wanted to return British citizen Kirandeep safely to that country.

If his wife leaves the country, he also had the plan to leave India and hide in another country. Amritpal was afraid that if he leaves the country leaving his wife in the country, all the suspicions of the police will fall on Kirandeep.

So he advised his wife to leave the country. According to the investigators, keeping such a possibility in mind, Kirandeep has been closely monitored since March.

Recently, the police arrested Amritpal and his wife at the Amritsar airport before boarding a London-bound flight. A source of the investigators said that only after the arrest of Kirandeep, the way to arrest Amritpal was paved. According to that source, Kirandeep came to India to marry Amritpal in February. His visa was due to expire in July.

Before that, Amritpal was also eager to send his wife to Britain. Since March, Amritpal has covered his body with dust in various places in Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, and Delhi under the police. Finally, on Sunday morning he was arrested and sent to Assam's Dibrugarh Jail.

Kirandeep-Amritpal got married in February. Kirandeep fell in love after seeing Amritpal's video on social media. In an interview given to 'The Week', Kirandeep said that he had been 'following' Amritpal on Instagram for over a year. After that, he messaged Amritpal with praise. After this, the two exchange their minds. The Khalistani leader got married.
