New Rules for medical education in West Bengal

The new decision is going to come into effect for all allopathic courses in Bengal. This time, if a candidate fails the exam, there will be a review once. The new decision of the state education department. This rule will be issued for every student studying in more than 5000 MBBS and more than 2000 postgraduate seats.

The health university took this sensational decision in the academic council meeting of the university in the presence of principals of all medical colleges in May.

According to the university sources, if the result is not satisfactory, then the application should be made within 24 hours of the publication of the result according to the specific format of the review. For the review of each paper, the cost was two thousand rupees. However, that review does not always increase the number. Recently Calcutta Medical College also has its example. Some students sent their report cards for review as they thought they were worthy of honours. But after the results of the review came to hand, some people saw that the number did not increase and they failed. After such incidents, big questions arise about the role of the university.

An official of the Health University said, "Absolutely not." This decision has nothing to do with that incident. According to the new decision of the National Medical Commission, the final policy-making body of modern medicine reading, the results of both the test and the supplement should be completed within three to six weeks. Nominal time on hand. As a result, the university will not be in a position to verify the review verbatim. If any student fails, we will definitely review it.''

A student of RG Kar Medical College said, "Many students from the village came to study in the city with great difficulty. Everyone hopes for good results. If the result is not as expected, they apply for review. So taking away the right to review is tantamount to taking away the rights of students. We protest this decision.”

AC buses will run even after 10 pm on both routes in Kolkata
