Neha Dhupia Set for Hollywood Debut in Qatar World Cup Drama

Renowned Egyptian director Ali El Arabi is set to create waves with his latest project, "Blue 52," a cross-cultural drama featuring Indian stars Neha Dhupia and Adil Hussain. The film delves into the emotional journey of a young Indian soccer enthusiast navigating the world of migrant labor in Qatar.

Both actors, known for their versatile performances, bring depth to their roles as Ashish's parents. Ashish, played by Yadav Shashidhar, is a fervent soccer fan with dreams of meeting his idol, Lionel Messi. Faced with financial constraints, he devises a daring plan to work as a stadium laborer during the World Cup in Qatar.

"Blue 52" promises a poignant family tale set against the backdrop of a serene Kerala island, showcasing the unwavering spirit of a true fan and the power of dreams. The film marks the second collaboration between director Ali El Arabi and Egyptian Cinematographer Mahmoud Basher, following their success with "Captains of Zaatari" at the Sundance Film Festival in 2021.
