Corona is increasing in West Bengal, masks may be mandatory, says Chief Minister

The state government is worried about the corona situation in West Bengal. Therefore, even in the ongoing intense heat, the use of masks can be made compulsory by Nabanna.

On Monday (April 17), the Cabinet meeting discussed the Corona situation. Many expressed concern about the return of Corona. In this situation, the chief minister asked to emphasize on the use of masks.

Sources said Nabanna is likely to issue guidelines with a set of restrictions on Tuesday. Initially this restriction will be effective in government offices. Those rules will include regular use of masks and sanitizers. Also the use of thermal gun will be emphasized.

Apart from this, after the summer vacation, there is also a debate on whether or not corona rules can be issued in schools. Municipalities have been instructed to keep the area clean.

The number of corona patients in India has crossed 10 thousand. In West Bengal, the number of infected in the first week of April was over 100. An old man died of corona in Kolkata on April 13. In India too, 11 people died in a single day in the second week of April. Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandavya said in the last 13 appeals that Corona will increase step by step in the next eight to ten days. It will decrease later. The state government does not want to take any risk in this situation. Panchayat polls ahead. Before that, the state government is planning to control the corona infection.
