Why Kabir Suman suddenly announced that he will not sing in India anymore?

No matter how much controversy there is about Kabir Suman, no one can deny that his contribution to the music world is huge. His songs and tunes are nostalgic for Bengali music lovers. Controversies aside, the songs of 'Ganwala' still fascinate everyone in the same way.

In a recent interview with Bangladeshi media, Kabir Suman made it clear that he will no longer sing modern songs in India. He made this announcement in front of the news media at an event in Opar Bengal. But what is the reason for his decision to never sing in his own country?

According to Kabir Suman, he will not sing in India anymore, he will sing in Bangladesh. Even after 13 years he went to the other side of Bengal and received warm hospitality. No one insulted him in Bangladesh. But India had a different picture. Kabir Suman said that a few days before going to Bangladesh, he had a program at Kalamandir on the fifth day of Durga Puja.

Suman complained that he could only hear the sound of the audience's mobile phones throughout the show, which was disrespectful to him. That did not happen in Bangladesh. So Suman decides that he will no longer sing modern Bengali songs in India. Bangla Khayal will sing.

It should be noted that after a long decade, Kabir Suman went to Bangladesh and performed the program. The audience was overflowing in the auditorium. There was a lot of praise from the other side of Bengal, and he even said that if Bangladesh wants to give him honorary citizenship, he will definitely accept it.
