Huge money to enter accounts before Puja, another 3 percent DA hike for govt employees

Good news for government employees regarding D (Govt Employee Dearness Allowance). Big money will enter the account before Puja. DA (Dearness Allowance) will increase in one stroke. Now government employees get DA or Dearness Allowance at the rate of 42 percent. The rate will increase by one jump before Puja. This information has been brought forward in various reports.

According to sources, the government has agreed to give Dearness Allowance and DR (Dearness Relief) to employees and pensioners. The source claims that the DA will be increased to 45 percent in one fell swoop. In this regard, dearness allowances for employees and pensioners are calculated on the basis of the latest Consumer Price Index for Industrial Workers (CPI-IW) published by the Labor Bureau every month.

Speaking to news agency PTI, All India Railwaymen Federation general secretary Shiv Gopal Mishra said, 'CPI-IW for June 2023 was released on July 31. We have demanded a four percent increase in Dearness Allowance. An increase in Dearness Allowance is taking effect. Should be a little more than three percentage points. Now if the DA increases by three percent, the total will be 45 percent.'
