The city of Ayodhya is aglow with spiritual fervor as the doors of the newly constructed Ram Mandir open to the public. Devotees from all walks of life, adorned in vibrant traditional attire, eagerly await the arrival of Ramlala, chanting 'Jai Sriram' in unison.
The much-anticipated inauguration on January 22nd marks the culmination of decades-long promises and efforts towards the construction of the Ram Mandir. While the event is steeped in religious significance, it is noteworthy that stars from the Indian entertainment industry have played a role in supporting the construction financially.
Bollywood luminaries such as Akshay Kumar, and Hema Malini, and South Indian superstars, including Pawan Kalyan, have generously contributed to the realization of this monumental project. A couple of years ago, Akshay Kumar urged his fans to join hands in financing the construction, and he made a substantial personal contribution. Anupam Kher, a vocal advocate for the Ram Mandir, went a step further by offering bricks inscribed with the name of Lord Ram to the temple.
Hema Malini, the 'Dreamgirl' of Bollywood and a BJP MP from Mathura, also finds her name on the list of contributors. While the exact amount of her donation remains undisclosed, her commitment to the cause is evident. Recently, she portrayed the role of Sita in an Ayodhya drama depicting the Ramayana.
Gurmeet Chowdhury, renowned for his portrayal of Lord Ram on the telescreen, joined the ranks of contributors by making a financial donation towards the construction. Other notable names from the entertainment industry, including Mukesh Khanna, Manish Mundra, Manoj Joshi, and Pranitha Subhash, have also shown their support with financial contributions.
The collective involvement of these celebrities highlights the widespread and diverse support for the Ram Mandir, cutting across regional and industry boundaries. The contributions not only demonstrate their commitment to preserving cultural and religious heritage but also signify the unity of purpose in the construction of this iconic temple. As the doors open to the public, the Ram Mandir stands as a symbol of collective faith and dedication.Center Takes Measures to Secure Myanmar Border Amidst Influx of Troops in Manipur
