Govinda to be questioned in Rs 1,000 crore online ponzi scam

Bollywood actor Govinda was involved in an online scam of around 1000 crore rupees. Odisha's economic crime branch will come to interrogate Bollywood's 'hero number one'.

A company called Solar Techno Alliance has spread such a web of corruption in India under the guise of cryptocurrency. Govinda did several advertisements for that company. In that context, the complaint against the Bollywood actor is that Govinda is supporting the work of the fraudulent organization.

JN Pankaj, an officer of Odisha's economic crime branch, said that the actor will be interrogated soon. A team will go to Mumbai to interrogate Govinda. The actor went to Goa for an event of the organization last July. However, the official later said, “He will be interrogated for the sake of investigation.

Govinda is neither an accused nor a suspect in this incident. If it is later found that Govinda was limited to advertising contracts with Solar Techno Alliance, then he will be produced as a witness.”
