'The Kerala Story' banned in West Bengal, filmmakers in Supreme Court
Sudipta Sen's new film 'The Kerala Story' has started a new excitement across the country. The opposition camp of the country has raised objections about the story of the film. In this situation, Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee made a big announcement about this film on Monday.
A ban was imposed on the exhibition of Sudipta Sen's film in West Bengal. Now the makers of the film are approaching the Supreme Court to challenge the ban decision. The controversy over The Kerala Story has been swirling for days. From Congress leader Shashi Tharoor to Pinarayi Vijayan, the film has been demanded to be banned. And that film was banned in Bengal on Monday. West Bengal is the first state, where this film has been banned. Not only in Bengal but also in southern Tamil Nadu, this film has stopped showing. However, the state government, although not officially banned, the owners have decided to stop showing the film due to the unrest. The makers of 'The Kerala Story' have appealed to the Supreme Court, asking the Tamil Nadu government to provide security in theaters across the state. On this, Anurag Thakur said on Monday, 'I want to ask Trinamool Congress, CPM why they are behaving like ISIS group?
