The big change in gas booking rules!

The trend of using gas is increasing at a large rate. According to sources, more than 17 crore middle-class families may be endangered by this gas connection in a total of 9 years from 2016 to 2023. Gas prices may increase further. The informed circles of the country think so.

Cooking gas prices were hiked in early April. Currently, the price of gas in Kolkata is Rs 1,129. So what if the prices go up again in May, all the citizens living below the poverty line are worried. Earlier, a cooking gas connection had to be taken. It took a long time for gas to arrive. But now cooking gas is reached within 3 days in most places. Even for the benefit of the poor citizens of the country, 14 kg cooking gas and 19 kg commercial gas along with 5 kg cylinders are also available now.

In this regard, it should be noted that after 2016, the consumption of cooking gas has increased by 104 percent. According to the information, about 32 crore citizens of the country use this cooking gas under Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana. Because under this scheme Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave free cooking gas to all the poor women of the country in 2016.

So according to economic experts, the Prime Minister himself has increased the consumption of cooking gas. More than 2 crore women are benefiting from this Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana. In the future, this number may be 5 crore.
