CBI Files Charge Sheet Against YouTuber Alleging Modi Government Involvement in Sridevi's Death
A YouTuber from Bhubaneswar, Dipti, has found herself in legal trouble after making controversial claims linking the deaths of Bollywood actress Sridevi and actor Sushant Singh Rajput to the Indian government, specifically targeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh.
Dipti, through her YouTube channel, alleged that Sridevi's death in February 2018 was preordained and involved a collaboration between the Indian government and the United Arab Emirates. She also raised questions about the mysterious death of Sushant Singh Rajput. The accusations gained traction, causing a stir in the public sphere.
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) took cognizance of the situation after a Mumbai lawyer, Chandni Shah, filed a complaint against Dipti. Following an investigation, the CBI filed a charge sheet against the YouTuber, accusing her of spreading false information. In December 2023, CBI officials searched Dipti's house and confiscated her mobile phone and laptop.
According to CBI sources, Dipti had presented several letters and documents in her videos and on social media, claiming them as evidence implicating Prime Minister Modi and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh in the alleged plot. The CBI contends that these documents are fake.
The controversy surrounding Sridevi's death has persisted since 2018, and this recent development adds another layer of complexity to the ongoing speculation. The CBI's actions indicate a pushback against misinformation and baseless claims that can have serious consequences.
As legal proceedings unfold, it remains crucial for the public to rely on verified and credible sources for accurate information. Unsubstantiated claims can be misleading, and the legal system should be allowed to determine the truth behind these allegations.
The political implications of such allegations, especially with Lok Sabha polls on the horizon, could be significant. However, it is essential to await the outcome of the legal process before drawing any conclusions about the involvement of the Modi government or any other officials in the deaths of Sridevi and Sushant Singh Rajput.President Joe Biden Extends Hand of Collaboration to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in Letter
