Board of Madhya Shiksha Parshad Takes Proactive Measures for Smooth Conduct of Madhyamik Exams

In anticipation of the upcoming Madhyamik exams scheduled to commence on February 2 across the state, the Board of Madhya Shiksha Parishad has undertaken a series of proactive measures to ensure the integrity and smooth functioning of the examination process.

Recent developments surrounding the job cancellations of several teachers and non-teaching staff due to recruitment corruption have prompted the board to address concerns regarding the preparedness of examination centres. A comprehensive plan has been put in place to assess and monitor these centres.

To achieve this, the board has instituted district-wise monitoring teams tasked with a 14-point questionnaire to evaluate various aspects of examination centre readiness. This includes the verification of adequate numbers of teaching and non-teaching staff, the implementation of CCTV surveillance, the availability of benches, and housing facilities, and adherence to board examination guidelines.

The district monitoring teams are expected to conduct thorough physical inspections of the examination centres and submit detailed reports to the Board of Madhya Shiksha Parshad within seven days. This preemptive approach aims to identify and address any potential issues before the commencement of exams, ensuring a seamless and fair examination process for the students.

Sources indicate that the secondary examination is slated to be held in over 2,500 examination centres across the state. The board is particularly keen on ascertaining whether there are sufficient teachers to monitor these centres, underscoring the importance of a well-prepared and monitored examination environment.

By establishing these monitoring teams and issuing a detailed questionnaire, the board demonstrates a commitment to upholding the integrity of the examination process and addressing any concerns or complaints that may arise. This proactive stance reflects the board's dedication to ensuring a fair and disturbance-free examination experience for all students.
