The course has been jointly launched by the Indian Institute of Management, Raipur, and the Digital Health Academy. This will be a permanent program for one year.

A student seeking admission to the Diploma Program in Digital Health must have a bachelor's degree. Candidates should not be 25 years or above as on July 20, 2023. Professional degree holders are exempted from age criteria.

Applicants for the PG Certificate Program in Digital Health must have a bachelor's degree or its equivalent with a minimum of two years of relevant work experience in a variety of healthcare roles. At the same time, candidates must have English language knowledge compulsorily.

According to various media reports, the knowledge and skills required to design, develop and operate healthcare systems are taught.
